back from vacation

i was out of town for the holiday weekend-trip to louisville for a conference with my church~ with an unexpected stay over in chicago and freezing temperatures- grampa held down the fort and babysat the kid -- while i was gone i had a painter come and paint the inside main areas of the house.. it looks great


papa has been in rare form...

~i didn't look at it, for all i know he could have scalped me

*while watching so you think you can dance

~these dancers today dance like i used to when i was alone
~i don't call that dancing all there doing is gyrating

oh how i missed this guy-- so glad to be home

grampa went to care group (fellowship group) for the first time on Tuesday - he was telling me about the lovely house it was at and proceeded to tell me no one puts out a spread like reverend richardson... who??

favorite phrase

i told grampa i was starting a blog to record his antics.. i told him the name of it was one of his favorite phrases.. to which he replied oh, "i forget?".. nope but at least he remembers that he forgets

life has its ups & downs....

grampa needed to get some documents notarized so he went to ups... as in up & down-- took me a few to figure out U.P.S the store with the men in brown

grampa ran an errand awhile back.. he went to the oculist..... or as you and i would say the eye doctor
